You’ve got talent and we know it! Join Solid Rock and show off that talent God has given you! We will have microphones and places to plug in guitars so whether it is musical ability, poems, art, or anything else show us what you’ve got!

Immediatly following this event is St. Stephen’s annual meeting and potluck. The potluck will be served at 5pm with the meeting starting at 5:45pm. Students and parents are invited to come. Students have a say in our congregation and have a vote! This is an important meeting to be a part of as it is when we vote on budgets and many other things, all that involve Solid Rock. So come and let your voice be heard! St. Stephen is stronger because of you!

Join Solid Rock as we celebrate our seniors and congratulate them on completing high school!! Bring a snack to share and your bathing suit. It is tradition that our Junior class picks out the gifts for our graduates but all of Solid Rock chips in for the gifts so if you are not a senior please be sure to help us out with $5 towards the senior presents! We also ask that you bring some snacks or drinks to share. Congratulations Class of 2012!!!! We will miss you!

Our Light of the World Tour is only a little over a month away. This evening we will prepare begin to prepare for the trip with conversations and activities about Key West and the work we will be doing! If you are going on the mission trip you won’t want to miss this night!

Join Solid Rock as we prepare for Easter and celebrate with our own egg hunt and other fun activities that are usually reserved for little kids! It’s our turn!

It’s Spring Break!!!!! Well at least it is for Seminole County but either way we are going to slow things down this week and enjoy a relaxing ride down the wekiva river!!! YOU MUST RSVP ON FACEBOOK BY MARCH 11!!!! We need to make sure we have enough drivers to get us there so please be sure you RSVP on facebook or let Kenny know by March 11. The cost will be $10 per person to help offset the cost of the canoe rentals. Also bring a lunch that you can eat on the water!

Break out your bathing suit and get ready for Water Wars!!! We will supply the water balloons and water guns all you need to do is grab a friend and come ready for a fast pace competion with water!

As we hit the middle of the semester and Lent it’s time for us to slow things down and talk with God. Join Solid Rock for a very special evening of prayer and relaxing conversation with each other and God. This should prove to be an evening to rejuvinate and refresh!

By popular demand it’s a potluck just for students!! AND a movie!!! Join Solid Rock in the Parish Hall and bring a dish to share! We will eat some awesome food and then put in a movie and watch it on the bring screen in the Parish Hall.

The 30 Hour Famine is a nation wide event to raise awarness of World Hunger. Solid Rock will be participating in the Famine Presidents day weekend February 19-20. We will begin our fast at 9:30am on Sunday with the start of worship. Following worship we will be heading out to serve all day with Clay at a local organziation. We will return after a day of service for a lockin at the church. We will have activities all day on Monday until 3:30pm when we break our fast after 30 hours with a mission trip style meal! This will be a challange for many but an experience you will not soon forget as you walk in the shoes of millions of hungry people in our world and get a glimps into the eyes of those who are less fortunate than we are, those Jesus taught us to serve!

If you cannot go 30 hours without food for medical reasons you are still welcome to participate in this event, just inform the adult leaders before hand and we will work something out for you to eat.

We will provide water and juice throughout the 30 hours to make sure you continue to get the proper sugars and that you stay hydrated as well.
